      Sustainability

These pants contain 92% recycled material. With your purchase, roughly 15 plastic bottles are kept out of the waste stream.

It may seem unlikely that old bottles can become incredibly soft fabric, yet it's based on polymer science. See how it happens:

      1. Discarded plastic bottles are gathered and prepared to be transformed.
      2. Once collected, the bottles pass through a washing stage that clears away any contaminants.
      3. Sorted by color, broken down into tiny pieces and heated until they turn into a molten liquid.
      4. The liquid is pushed through plates full of tiny holes, much like the spray from a shower head.
      5. The result is a set of ultra-fine filaments, each about 5x thinner than a strand of human hair.
      6. Next, the filaments are cut, stretched, arranged, and woven into a soft, comfortable fabric.

That is only one example of how we are committed to protecting the environment:

      • The fabric is colored with sustainable dyeing methods that use little water
      • Leftover scraps from making our scrubs are gathered and turned into scrunchies and scrub caps
      • Whenever possible, we offer carbon-neutral shipping choices.

      OUR STORY

Designed by people who've done the work

Dr Woof was created by Dr An, Dr Ron and Dr Dave who spent years on the floor and now make scrubs for 100,000+ nurses & doctors in hospitals and clinics. We've felt the toll long days can take on your body. We've worn uniforms that worked against us instead of with us. And we've seen how quickly work that matters can start to feel heavy.

Dr An, Dr Ron and Dr Dave

"Our story didn't start in a boardroom. It started on the job."

      THE 12-HOUR SHIFT TEST

Every fabric tested on a real shift

Every fabric and every fit had to feel exceptional after a real day in the hospital. If it didn't, we kept improving it.
