This medical top contains 92% recycled material. Wearing it diverts approximately 15 plastic bottles from ending up in waste sites.

Converting plastic bottles into remarkably tender fabric may seem impossible, but it's grounded in chemistry. Here's the process:

1. Discarded plastic containers are collected for reuse in new products.
2. The containers arrive at a processing facility, where they undergo extensive washing.
3. The containers are graded by shade, shredded into fine pieces and heated until they transform into a dense molten substance.
4. The molten material flows through perforated plates resembling a shower nozzle.
5. This procedure converts the material into incredibly thin fibres – each strand measures roughly 5x finer than a human hair.
6. The fibres are chopped, pulled, organized, and stitched together to create a comfortable, plush textile.

• The textile receives colour through sustainable, water-efficient dyeing techniques
• Leftover pieces from scrub production are repurposed to manufacture hair ties and scrub hats
